En este contexto de exploraci\u00f3n, es especialmente estimulante trabajar en proyectos punteros y con tanta visibilidad como la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/privalia.es?v=app_111251102233251&#038;ref=ts\">Fan Shop<\/a> de <a href=\"www.privalia.com\">Privalia<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/privalia.es?ref=ts\">Privalia<\/a> contact\u00f3 con Omatech para que les desarroll\u00e1ramos una aplicaci\u00f3n que permitiera realizar <strong>promociones exclusivas<\/strong> para sus fans de Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>La herramienta presentaba diferentes desaf\u00edos. Por una parte deb\u00eda ser <strong>multi-tienda<\/strong> para poder soportar las p\u00e1ginas de Facebook en Espa\u00f1a e Italia, <strong>multi-idioma<\/strong> y adem\u00e1s deb\u00eda conectarse con el sistema de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.privalia.com\">Privalia<\/a> para obtener autom\u00e1ticamente las promociones de su sistema. Y el reto m\u00e1s importante, que la aplicaci\u00f3n estuviera preparada para soportar <strong>tr\u00e1fico masivo<\/strong> en momentos muy puntuales.<\/p>\n<p>Al dise\u00f1ar una aplicaci\u00f3n para Facebook, es fundamental que todas las partes implicadas conozcan las posibilidades y las limitaciones de la plataforma Facebook. El equipo de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.omatech.com\">Omatech<\/a>, liderado por nuestro experto en Facebook, <a href=\"http:\/\/carlesbonfill.wordpress.com\/\">Carles Bonfill<\/a>, trabaj\u00f3 codo con codo con el equipo de Privalia para transformar la idea de partida en un conjunto de pantallas y funcionalidades adaptadas a Facebook. La plataforma Facebook es muy potente pero es necesaria una gran inversi\u00f3n en horas de I+D para estar al d\u00eda de los <strong>constantes cambios y evoluciones<\/strong> que se producen, si no, se corre el riesgo de no utilizar todo el potencial de la plataforma o lo que es mucho peor, los cambios en FB pueden afectar nuestras aplicaciones existentes hasta el punto de dejarlas inutilizables.<\/p>\n<p>El dise\u00f1o, desarrollo y puesta en producci\u00f3n de la aplicaci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 en 4 semanas. El lanzamiento de la <a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/#!\/privalia.es?ref=ts\">Fan Shop de Privalia<\/a> fue un aut\u00e9ntico \u00e9xito, en poco m\u00e1s de 12 horas, se consiguieron m\u00e1s de 40.000 nuevos fans, y a d\u00eda de hoy esta cifra ya casi alcanza los 95.000.
