El mes de Enero hemos puesto en marcha Getapp.com<\/a>, un directorio on-line de aplicaciones SaaS, aplicaciones basadas en Cloud computing y virtualizaci\u00f3n. Getapp<\/a> es un proyecto fundado por dos emprendedores con mucha experiencia en el sector: Christophe Primault (ex VP Global Marketing en NCR Corp y ex-CEO en Fluiditi y Kinamik) y Manuel Jaffrin (ex European Business Director en Sun Microsystems).<\/p>\n

Getapp.com<\/a> est\u00e1 dirigido a dos tipos de usuarios. Por un lado hay los compradores potenciales, es decir, todo aquel que est\u00e1 buscando una aplicaci\u00f3n concreta para su negocio. Por ejemplo, un caso t\u00edpico seria el de un director de IT que ha de decidir que aplicaci\u00f3n de facturaci\u00f3n se implantar\u00e1 en el departamento de contabilidad de la empresa, o bien una agencia de dise\u00f1o que ha de encontrar un software de e-mail marketing que le permita enviar boletines automatizados a sus clientes. Las casu\u00edsticas son muy variadas y forma parte de la visi\u00f3n de Getapp<\/a> el hecho de poner muy f\u00e1cil la b\u00fasqueda de la aplicaci\u00f3n oportuna en cada caso.<\/p>\n

Por otro lado hay todas las empresas de software que ofrecen servicios on-line y quieren utilizar Getapp<\/a> como plataforma para dar a conocer sus productos. En este sentido en Getapp<\/a> encontraremos aplicaciones listadas gratuitamente y aplicaciones listadas como Premium. Las aplicaciones en modelo Premium muestran m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n y salen ordenadas en primer lugar en las b\u00fasquedas y los listados. De hecho, este es el modelo de negocio de Getapp<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Omatech<\/a> ha hecho todo el desarrollo t\u00e9cnico de Getapp<\/a>: desde la maquetaci\u00f3n XHTML + CSS, la programaci\u00f3n del front-end de usuario y el back-end. El back-end es bastante complejo porque hemos automatizado la gesti\u00f3n de los listados premium, la asignaci\u00f3n de leads y la mayor\u00eda de acciones asociadas al mantenimiento del site. De esta manera el equipo de negocio de Getapp<\/a> se puede despreocupar de las tareas t\u00e9cnicas y puede centrarse en la promoci\u00f3n y comercializaci\u00f3n del portal. Como siempre hacemos en Omatech<\/a>, la plataforma tecnol\u00f3gica de Getapp<\/a> est\u00e1 basada en un framework MVC (Model Vista Controlador), de esta manera nos aseguramos que la aplicaci\u00f3n es escalable, modular y f\u00e1cil de mantener. En este tipo de proyectos es importante crear una plataforma muy flexible para ir incorporando nuevas mejoras y actualizaciones de manera \u00e1gil y en l\u00ednea con las peticiones recogidas de los usuarios.<\/p>\n
